River Falls, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls Women's hockey scored 10 unanswered goals in route to a convincing 10-1 win over St. Olaf.
Carly Moran and
Madi Nolan each had 2 goals to pace the offensive attack for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST ST. OLAF
- St. Olaf struck first on the Power Play for a 1-0 lead, but the Falcons would even the score just over a minute later. A delayed penalty call gave the Falcons and extra skater. Sam Young took a pass from Madi Nolan skated across the slot to score her 2nd goal of the season.
- The flood gates would open up after that as the Falcon hockey team went on the offensive attack. Kathryn Larson would give the Falcons the lead with her 4th goal, as she deflected a point shot from Jamie Bird to put River Falls up 2-1.
- 18 seconds later Carly Moran would gain a head of steam, and storm into the St. Olaf goal and shoot one past Mae Morris to push the lead to 3-1.
- The UW-River Falls women were far from done for the period. While on the Power Play Haley Nielsen shot on goal would be blocked by Mae Morris, but Madi Nolan would tuck home the rebound for her 4th of season. UW-River Falls now led 4-1.
- The Falcons would push the lead to 5-1 as off a face-off Erica Schramel's shot on net appear to be deflected in by a St. Olaf player. It was her first goal of the season.
- UW-River Falls controlled the play for most of the second period, and late in the period they pushed the score to 6-1 as Carly Moran pounced on a loose puck in the St. Olaf zone, and skated across the zone in front of the net. She then passed back through 3 St. Olaf defenders to a wide open Callie Hoff who went high on Mae Morris for her 4th goal of the season, and a 6-1 Falcons lead.
- The third period would see the offensive attack continue. It started with Amy Auran skating in on the wing, and firing a slap shot through the five hole on Morris for her 4th goal of the season, and a 7-1 lead.
- Just 39 seconds later Kora Torkelson would score her 4th of the season off of a goal mouth scramble, that would push the lead to 8-1.
- The Falcons would push it to 9-1 as Amy Auran would skate out from behind the St. Olaf net, and fire the puck on goal. Morris would make the save, but nobody was covering Madi Nolan. She banged in the rebound for her 5th goal of the season.
- Carly Moran would end the scoring for the game with her 11th goal of the season late in the period.
- Tatyana Delaittre would end up with 11 saves for her 3rd win of the season.
- Erica Schramel and Hannah Enright were both +7 for the game.
THE OPPOSITION
- Riley Anderson would score St. Olaf's goal on the Power Play.
- Mae Morris would finish with 30 saves in the game.
