HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS
• The first period saw both teams skating up and down the ice. The Falcons scored the only goal as Callie Hoff skated into the zone, and shot one past Paige Press for a UW-River Falls 1-0 lead.
• The Falcons went on the power play twice in the period, but were unable to convert on either chance.
• The 2nd period saw the Falcons killing plenty of penalties. UW-River Falls was whistled for 3 in the period, but managed to kill off all of them.
• Both teams had excellent scoring chances in the period, but both goalies stood tall.  Angie Hall made 9 saves for UW-River Falls, and Lauren Tremblay made 7 for the Gusties.
• The 3rd period saw another goalie change for the Gusties as Bailey Jackson took over in goal.
• The Falcons were called for 3 more penalties in the period, and this time the Gusties took advantage.
• At 6:59 Kaitlyn Klein tied the score at 1, with assists going to Kristen Cash and Erica Power.
• Klein struck again at 9:31 with some fancy puck handling, and tucked it past Angie Hall for her second power play and goal of the game.
• The last half of the period saw the Falcons peppering goaltender Jackson with 18 shots. 10 of those shots were on goal, and Jackson stood tall stopping them all.
