RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) -- The football season is off for the Falcons, as they looked to avenge an opening day loss from last year against Coe.  The Falcons left it all on the field against Coe, but a last second incomplete pass dropped the Falcons to 0-1.

• The Falcons defense kept them in the game producing 4 Sacks, 9 Tackles for Loss, and forcing 11 punts.
• The Falcons defense was very tough the whole game limiting Coe to 185 yards.
• Max Praschak led the defense with 14 tackles.
• Nick Jacobsen added in another 8 tackles, with 2.5 of them for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
• Michael Diggins rushed for 109 yards in the game.
• UW-River Falls rushed for 171 total yards as a team, compared to only 37 yards for Coe.
• Tyler Halverson had 3 receptions for 52 yards, and scored UW-River Falls only touchdown.
