THE RUNDOWN:

WHAT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons outshot the Cardinals in both halves but were not able to capitalize with a goal.
- In the first half the Falcons put the pressure on the Cardinals right away outshooting them 8-7.
- In the second half the Falcons again put the pressure on getting five shots in the first three minutes. The Falcons would put up 18 shots compared to the Cardinals 6.
- Tied 0-0 at the end of regulation the match would go into overtime. At 92:32 Natalie Ruegsegger would sneak one past the Falcon keeper on a corner kick from Emily Loof.
- Kayla Windingstad would lead the Falcons offensively with eight shots on the afternoon with three of them being on goal.
- Keeper duties were shared by both Amanda LaDue and Haley Crosby. LaDue saw 82:13 minutes of play and had six saves. Crosby took the loss with the lone goal in her 10:19 minutes of play.
THE OPPOSITION:
- The Cardinals had 15 total shots and were led by Carina Friend and Kendall Archer who each had three shots.
- Zoe Boleneus got the win with five saves in 92:32 minutes of play.
