Kathryn Larson and
Carly Moran each scored two goals to propel the Falcon women's hockey team to a 7-0 shutout win over Northland College. The Falcons controlled the play from the opening face off, outshooting the Lumber Jills 51-8 for the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST NORTHLAND COLLEGE
- The Falcons picked up the offensive attack they started on Friday night. Erica Schramel took a back pass from Kathryn Larson, and blasted a shot past Gabby Suhr for her 2nd goal of the season.
- Late in the period, a shot by Sam Young was wide of the net, went off the backboards and came out to the blue line. Once it arrived there Jamie Bird's shot beat Suhr for her first career goal as a Falcon, and a 2-0 lead.
- The Falcons out shot the Lumber Jills 16-1 in the 1st period.
- In the second period the attack continued. At the 7:37 mark Haley Nielsen skated out behind the net, and centered the puck where Kathryn Larson knocked it home on the Power Play for a 3-0 lead.
- Later in the period, Jessica Bird took a shot on goal in front of the net, but Suhr came up with a huge save. Suhr was unable to control the rebound, and Bird then tucked it behind her for her 4th goal of the season.
- The 2nd period ended with the Falcons leading 4-0, and having out shot the Lumber Jills 34-5.
- In the 3rd period the Falcons kept the pressure on the Northland. It started at 7:47 of the third when Amy Auran skated behind the net, but before she went she passed back to Kathryn Larson whose first shot was stopped by Suhr. The second shot was put home to make it 5-0 Falcons.
- At the 9:18 mark of the 3rd period Carly Moran put home a rebound off a shot from the point. It was her 18th goal of the season, and it made the score 6-0 UW-River Falls.
- Late in the period, Carly Moran struck again as she took a pass from Erica Schramel, and stick handled through the Northland defense. Put a move on Suhr, and put it into a wide open net for her 19th of the season.
- Tatyanna Delaittre made 8 saves in the game.
- Erica Schramel finished with a goal and two assists, and was +4 in the game.
- Kathryn Larson had an assist in addition to her 2 goals.

- Gabby Suhr finished the game with 44 saves.
