Alex Herink had a game high 27 points, but it was not enough for the UW-River Falls men's basketball team as they fell to nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh 45-68 at Page Arena Saturday afternoon.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The two teams traded off points in the first three minutes of the half. The Titans followed it with an eight point run that gave them a lead that they would carry through the finish of the game.
- Alex Herink drove in a layup at the 3:46 mark of the first half getting the Falcon within two points, 23-35.
- He would be fouled at the 1:09 mark sending him to the line and getting the Falcons within one point 26-27.
- At the completion of the first half, the Titans finished the first half up 29-26.
- In the second half, the Titans pulled away from the Falcons with a three point shot by David Vlotho at 15:03. If was the first time the Titans advantage went to double digits.
- The Titans pushed it to 20 points at 9:15 after they went on a six point run.
- The Falcons would cut the lead to 13 a couple times in the last five minutes of the half but could not get past that point. The Titans finished out the half with an eight point run and easily secure the win 21 point win.

- Alex Herink was the leading scorer of the day with 27 points. He was 8-18 from the floor making one three point shot. He was 10-14 from the charity stripe and added five rebounds.
- Clay Seifert and Matt Keller each added eight points to the day.

- Charlie Noone and Brett Wittchow each 13 points. Noone was 4-8 from the floor and made three shots beyond the arc. He added four rebounds and two assists.
- Wittchow was 4-8 from the floor and made two shots from downtown. He was 3-5 from the free throw line and added two rebounds.
- The Titans shot 26-51 (51.0 percent) from the floor and were 17-21 (81.0 percent) from the charity stripe. They made nine shots from beyond the arc and scored 22 points off of turnovers.

The Falcons host UW-La Crosse Wednesday Jan. 31 in a 7 p.m. WIAC matchup. The Falcons currently sit 14-5 overall and 4-4 in WIAC play.
