River Falls, WI - (uwrfsports.com) - The UW-River Falls track teams hosted the Falcon Winter Classic on Saturday afternoon. The men's team scored 207 points and the women's team scored 134 points both were good enough for first place out of the 6 teams that competed. The women's team won 4 events overall and the men's team won 5 events.

What Happened at the Falcon Winter Classic - Top Women's Finishes
- Freshman Allison Stewart finished 2nd in the 55 meter dash and 4th in the 200 meter dash
- Katelyn Moore and Katlyn Ableidinger finished 2nd and 3rd in the 600 meter run.
- Linsey Tolkkinen finished 2nd in the 1 mile run with her teammates Nikki Jurik and Emily Klatt finishing right behind her in 3rd and 4th.
- Kimberly Robertson won the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 9.48 seconds.
- The team of Katelyn Moore, Emily Klatt, Emma Deutsch and Katlyn Ableidinger won the distance medley.
- Kimberly Robertson won the women's pole vault.
- Sophomore Abigail Bakken won the women's shot put and finished 3rd in the weight throw.
What Happened at the Falcon Winter Classic - Top Men's Finishes
- Kyle Dorosz won the 55 meter dash and finished 2nd in the 200 meter dash.
- Adam Kasper finished 2nd in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:03.74 in a very tight race.
- Braydon Johnson finished 3rd in the 1 mile run.
- Justin Barnes, Riley Joacobson, and Colton Sorensen took 2nd through 4th in the 55 meter hurdles.
- Justin Barnes went on to win the high jump, and Sorensen won the pole vault.
- Tim Rixman won the long jump and the triple jump.
Looking Ahead
Both track teams will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Waverly, IA to compete in the Wartburg College Select on February 3rd.
