RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The No. 7 UW-River Falls women's hockey dominated the Cobbers of Concordia College (Minn) Friday night defeating them 7-2 at Page Arena.

What Happened:
- Madi Nolan scored the first goal of the evening less than two minutes into the start of the game. She scored on a pass from Kathryn Larson.
- Larson turned around and scored her own goal at 12:59 in the first period. Larson goal was a power play goal after Maddie Ellingson was called for holding. She was assisted on the goal by Erica Schramel and Bella Wagner.
- Less than a minute later Abigail Stow scored the eventual game winning goal at 13:39 in the first. She was assisted on the play by Ashley Effertz and Haley Nielsen.
- At the conclusion of the first period, the Falcons led 3-0 and were outshooting the Cobbers 12-5.
- In the second period it was the Cobbers who stuck first scoring their first goal of the night at 1:44. Kaitlyn Paige had an unassisted goal.
- At 4:31 Kora Torkelson was called for hooking and the Cobbers got a power play opportunity that they were able to capitalize on. Megan Mohr found the back of the net 10 seconds after Torkelson was penalized and shrunk the Falcons lead to one goal. Mohr was assisted on the play by Callie Fargerstrom.
- The Falcons applied the offensive pressure for the remainder of the period putting eight shots on goal before Julia Stelljes was able to get one past the Cobber goalie Brittany Ross. Abigail Stow and Hailey Herdine assisted on the goal.
- Jamie Bird scored her first goal of the season at 17:31 on a pass by Jessica Bid and Andrea Olson. The Falcons led 5-2 after the second period.
- In the third period, Callie Hoff scored a power play goal after Callie Fargerstrom was called for cross checking. Hoff was assisted on the play by Nielsen and Larson.
- Hoff scored the final goal of the night and her second of the evening at 16:41.
- Tatyana Delaittre and Leighton Rockensock shared the goalie duties for the Falcons. Delaittre tended for one period and had five saves. Rockensock finished out the final two periods collecting ten saves and giving up two goals.
- The Falcons took advantage of their power play opportunities scoring two goals in their three opportunities. The Cobber capitalized on one of three.
- Callie Hoff led the team offensively with two goals and four shots on goal. Haley Nielsen and Kathryn Larson each had two assists.
THE OPPOSITION
- Maiah McCowan had five shots on goal but was unable to find the back of the net.
- Kate Turner finished with 27 saves in her 60 minutes of play.
