Box Score RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The No. 5 UW-River Falls women's hockey team found the back of the net three times in the first period of today's game to drive them to another Falcon victory over the Gustavous Adolphus 4-0.
The Falcons would score three goals in the first 11 minutes of the contest. Scoring at just 47 seconds into the first period
Bella Wagner would assist
Callie Hoff in the finding the net. Four minutes later
Reilly Springman would put up another goal for the Falcons during a power play with assists by
Madi Nolan and
Erica Schramel at 4:36 into the period.
Madi Nolan would serve a two minute minor penalty for tripping starting at 10:51 into the first but that would not stop the Falcons from scoring.
Callie Hoff would score a shorthanded goal at 11:26, her second goal of the evening, with another assist by
Bella Wagner.
The two teams would battle it out for much of the second period. The Falcons would serve two minor penalties and hold their ground. At 9:08, the Gusties would draw the whistle for a hooking penalty. This would give the Falcons the power play opportunity and at the 11 minute mark
Abigail Stow would score with assists by
Erica Schramel and
Madi Nolan.
The Falcons out shot Gustavus 20-12. The goaltenders for Gustavus would have a combined total of 15 saves on the day. UW-River Falls goaltender

th straight win and a record of 10-1, travel to the University of St. Thomas on Wednesday December 12
