RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Fall Women's Basketball team cruised to their 6th conference and 15th overall win as they beat the Blue Devils of UW-Stout by a final score of 93-65.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Midway through the first quarter was a feeling out period for both teams as the teams traded baskets early.
- The first media timeout of the game came with 4:10 remaining in the first quarter with the Blue Devils holding a 14-10 lead. Amber Fabek got off to a fast start with 8 of the first 14 points for the Blue Devils.
- The Falcons were able to battle back and tie the game at 20 with the help of a team leading, 10 points from Taylor Karge.
- The Falcons and Blue Devils would continue to exchange baskets as they would head into the end of the first quarter all knotted up at 22.
- The Falcons would start the first half of the second quarter with an 11-3 run to take an 8 point lead to the 5 minute mark of the second quarter.
- Brynn Liljander would lead the Falcons to a nine point lead at the first media timeout of the quarter with 12 points. Falcons lead 36-27 with 3:45 remaining in the half.
- The Falcons would add to their lead heading into the break. With 14 points from both Brynn Liljander and Taylor Karge, the Falcons would take a 47-32 lead into the break.

- Taylor Karge was the leading scorer for the Falcons with 28 points. Karge was 11-20 from the floor and 6-6 from the line.
- Brynn Liljander also added an impressive 24 points to go along with the Falcon victory.

THE OPPOSITION
- Bailey Diersen led the way for the Blue Devils with 24 points. She was 9-16 from the floor and 2-4 from beyond the arch.
- Kyncaide Diedrich also eclipsed the 20 point mark adding 21 of her own to the Blue Devil effort.
- The Blue Devils shot 23-70 (32.9 percent) from the floor and were 15-34 (44.1 percent) from the charity stripe.
