RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – It was a battle of two top ten teams Tuesday night at Hunt Arena as the No. 4 Falcons took on the No. 10 Tommies of St. Thomas. The two teams battled to a 2-2 overtime tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST ST THOMAS
- Jessica Rubenalt scored her first collegiate goal in the first period giving the Falcons a 1-0 lead.
- The Tommies tied it up 1-1 in the second period at 4:15 when Maddy Fiedler scored an unassisted goal.
- The Falcons took back the lead at 11:19 in the second period on a Sam Young goal. Assisting her on the play was Kora Torkelson and Maddie McCollins.
- In the final half of the third period, the Tommies again tied it up at 2-2 with a goal by Shae McLean.
- The Falcons put two shots on goal in the overtime period but were unable to get one past the Tommie goaltender.
- The Falcons had 35 shots on goal compared to the Tommies 20.
- Sami Miller collected 18 saves on the night.
