LA CROSSE, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The women's basketball team travelled to La Crosse to participate in the UW-La Crosse Thanksgiving Tournament. They got the win today against Finlandia University, 73-64.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons shot 44.4 percent from the field in the first half, hitting 12-27, including 4-13 from behind the arc. As a team, the also hit 12-16 from the free throw line.
- Brianna Koop led the Falcons, scoring 12 points in the first half, including 8-8 from the free throw line.
- The Falcons scored 18 points off the bench overall, and nine in the first half.
- Overall the Falcons scored just four 2nd chance points in the half, 12 total in the game, all on 14 offensive rebounds.
- The Falcons went into halftime leading 40-29.
- UWRF shot just 25 percent in the second half overall, making 9-36 field goals and making 2-13 three pointers (15.4 percent).

THE OPPOSITION
- Finlandia was led by Bailey Froberg with 16 points. She shot 5-12 from the floor and went 2-6 from the free throw line.
- From the field the Saints shot 22-73 (30.1 percent) and 2-12 (16.7 percent) from downtown. They also shot 85.7 percent from the free throw line, 18-21.
