MIDDLEBURY, VT. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's hockey team dominated the No. 2 ranked team Adrian College 4-1 Sunday in the final day of the Cardinal/Panther Classic.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST PLATTSBURGH STATE
- The Falcons found their grove Sunday scoring two goals in the first period. Abigail Stow scored both goals. The first came at 7:36 in the period on a pass from Madi Nolan.
- Callie Hoff put a pass to the left post for Stow to swipe it in at 9:40. The goal was the first power play opportunity that the Falcons had in the game.
- Adrian cut the lead in half in the final two minutes of the second period.
- The Falcons scored two more goals in the third period to secure the win. Bella Wagner scored a power play opportunity at 1:07.
- Hoff scored the final Falcon goal at 6:45 on a pass from Hailey Herdine.
- The Falcons had 30 shots on goal compared to Adrian's 23.
- Sami Miller made 23 saves for the Falcons.
