Whitewater, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls softball team played as the home team, though they traveled to Whitewater for conference play due to poor weather conditions in River Falls.

WHAT HAPPENED GAME 1
- The Falcons held the Warhawks to just 1 run on 6 hits through 5 innings. UW-Whitewater left a total of nine runners on base through those innings, but due to the strong defensive stand by UWRF, including a pickoff play in the top of the 4th, were unable to capitalize.
- UW-River Falls tried to get the offense flowing in the bottom of the 4th inning with a single by each Allison Kondzela and Ali Krohn. Unfortunately, the Falcons were unable to benefit from the baserunners.
- Again in the bottom of the 5th, the Falcons came out swinging and started the inning with a single by each Rebecca Daley and Kaia Dorn. The runners were able to get into scoring position, but weren't quite able to profit.
- The Warhawks picked up two more runs off three hits, including a 2-run homerun by Seymour.
- UW-Whitewater added two more runs in the top of the 7th off one hit.
- UWRF ended up with 4 hits overall, as UWW ended with 10 hits.

WHAT HAPPENED VS CHICAGO
- The Falcons started strong defensively in the first inning, striking out two. They followed that up with one run on one hit in the bottom of the 1st. With two walks in the inning, and a single by Lexi Dupee, Molly Kaspar scored and the Falcons were on the board first.
- Whitewater answered in the top of the 2nd with six runs on six hits, including 4 singles and a homerun by Catino to left field.
- The Warhawks added another four runs on five hits in the top of the 3rd, comprising of three singles and two doubles.
- UWRF answered with back to back to back hits by Kondzela (double), Dupee (single), and Krohn (single). The Falcons, however, only tallied one more run in the bottom of the 4th.
- UWW added two more runs in the top of the 5th off three hits.
- River Falls responded with three runs of their own off four hits, including singles by each Hannah Theobald, Dupee, and Krohn, and a double by Kaspar.
- Overall the Falcons were able to almost triple their total hits in game 2. They ended with 5 runs on 11 hits, while the Warhawks ended with 12 runs on 19 hits.
