Platteville, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The Track and Field teams competed in the WIAC Championships at UW-Platteville.  Senior runner Linsey Tolkkinen finished on top in the women's 5000 Meter Run.

Women's Highlights

• Senior Linsey Tolkkinen finished in 1^st place in the 5000 Meter Run.  Her finishing time was 17:49.72, a solid fifteen seconds in front of the second place runner.
• Kimberly Robertson competed in the preliminaries of the 100 Meter Hurdles, competing with a time of 15.68.
• Robertson also competed in the Pole Vault, finishing 6^th overall with a final vault of 3.46m.
• Sophomore Callista Hobbs competed in the Hammer Throw, finishing with a distance of 29.39m.  Bryanne Brugger, freshman, also competed in the event and ended with a final throw of 25.74m.

Men's Highlights

• Senior Adam Kasper competed in the 800 Meter Run, finishing with a time of 1:57.77.
• Alan Hehr, junior, participated in the 110 Meter Hurdles preliminaries and finished with a time of 15.90.
• The Falcons had a relay team compete in the 4x100 Meter race.  The four runners, Devin Vorachith (FR), Kasper (SR), Collin Fluno (FR), and Andre Malinis (FR), finished with a time of 43.73.
• Kasper, Fluno, Malinis, along with Hehr, also competed in the 4x400 Meter Relay finishing with a time of 3:29.64.
• Sophomore Brady Balts participated in the Long Jump, with a final jump of 5.51m.
• Peter Place, sophomore, placed 18^th overall in the Hammer Throw, with a final throw of 45.38m.
• Caleb Venke (FR) and Justin Hill (JR) competed for the Falcons in the Javelin Throw, finishing with throws of 36.67m and 35.03m respectively.
