ST PAUL, Minn.  (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team picked up a nonconference win against Macalester College Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST MACALESTER
•    The Falcons scored the game winning goal at the 61st minute.  Cassidy Day scored on a pass from Peri Hoff.  
•    The Falcons had seven total shots and were led bey Kari Rollo who accounted for three.  
•    Haley Crosby got the win in goal with six saves and no Scot goals allowed. 
 
THE OPPOSITION
•    Macalester had 15 total shots with six on goal.   
•    Scots goaltender Kayla Togneri allowed one goal and had two saves.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
The Falcons travel to Northland College Saturday September 14.  Last season the Falcons defeated the Jills 3-2.
