RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The Falcon women's soccer team approves to 5-1 on the season with a 3-2 win over the Pipers of Hamline Sunday afternoon at Ramer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST HAMLINE UNIVERSITY
- Camryn Altnau had a day for the Falcons recording her first collegiate hat trick. Altnau had all three goals for the Falcons.
- Altnau's first goal came at 13:31. She went one on one against the goaltender and beat her for an open goal opportunity.
- The Falcons second goal came on a pass from Maggie Koehler to Altnau. Altnau took on the Piper goaltender and tapped one in to give the Falcons a 2-1 lead.
- Altnau's final goal was a shot she fired from 25 yards out that ricocheted off the far post and into the back of the net.
- Amanda Ladue got the win in goal with nine saves.
THE OPPOSITION
- The Pipers outshot the Falcons 25-9.
- Cailey Schmidt tied the match up 1-1 at the 40th minute. She scored on a pass from Gaby Diaz.
- The Pipers second goal that came at 85:23 was an own goal.

The Falcons now have the week off before they host UW-Superior on the 23rd of September. The match will be played at 4 p.m. at Ramer Field.
