PELLA, Iowa (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team travelled to Pella, Iowa for the Central-Grinnell Invite. The Falcons lost both match ups on day one of the Invitational. The Falcons first battled Bethel University and fell 0-3 (18-25, 19-25, 19-25). In their second match of the day, the Falcons didn't give anything away easily, keeping each game close, but ultimately falling to Warburg College 1-3 (21-25, 25-21, 24-26, 22-25).

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST BETHEL
- The Falcons lost to Bethel University in three games, (18-25, 19-25,19-25).
- Offensively the Falcons hit .121 overall with 32 kills in 107 attempts.
- Katie Koerper led the Falcons with 7 kills and hit .182 in 22 attempts. .
- Dakotah Poitra added 5 kills in 16 attempts, hitting .188. She also recorded seven digs and two block assists.
- Hailey Huseth had 27 of the team's 31 assists.
- Huseth also led the team defensively with 13 digs.

- The Falcons lost to Wartburg College in four games, (21-25, 25-21, 24-26, 22-25).
- Offensively, the Falcons hit .162 overall with 35 kills in 130 attempts.
- Dakotah Poitra led the Falcons with 10 kills in 31 attempts, hitting .290.
- Mallory Griffin added eight kills and Katie Koerper added seven.
- Hailey Huseth had all 41 of the team's assists.
- Hannah Robb led the Falcons defensively with 22 digs.
- As a team, the Falcons finished the match with 55 digs and 15 blocks.
