PELLA, Iowa (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team tallied two more in the win column on the second day of play at the Central-Grinnell Invite. In their first match of the day, the Falcons competed against Simpson College, winning 3-0 (25-14, 28-26, 25-20). The Falcons took on Nebraska Wesleyan University in their second match of the day, also winning in three games, 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-20).

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST SIMPSON
- The Falcons beat Simpson College in three games, (25-14, 28-26, 25-20).
- Offensively the Falcons hit .333 overall with 45 kills in 108 attempts.
- Karli Nielsen led the Falcons with 10 kills and hit .692 in 13 attempts. .
- Katie Koerper added 10 kills in 21 attempts, hitting .429. Dakotah Poitra had eight kills and also recorded seven digs.
- Hailey Huseth recorded 35 assists in the match.
- Hannah Robb led the team defensively with 15 of the team's 49 digs.
- As a team the Falcons finished the match with 13 blocks and six aces.

- The Falcons won their match against Nebraska Wesleyan University in three games, (25-16, 25-22, 25-20).
- Offensively, the Falcons hit .362 overall with 55 kills in 135 attempts.
- Dakotah Poitra led the Falcons with 19 kills in 35 attempts, hitting .514. She also recorded 17 digs.
- Katie Koerper added 14 kills (.500) and Mallory Griffin recorded nine kills along with 10 digs.
- Hailey Huseth had all 42 of the team's 47 assists.
- Hannah Robb led the Falcons defensively with 19 digs along with Poitra (17) and Hannah Striggow (15).
- As a team, the Falcons finished the match with 75 digs and seven aces.
