HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST AUGSBURG
- After a scoreless first period, Kora Torkelson scored her second goal of the season at 2:47 in the second half to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead. Assisting her on the goal was Madi Nolan and Abigail Stow.
- Jessica Rubenalt extended the Falcons lead to 2-0 in the third period when she scored a goal at 10:48 in the third period. Getting her second assist on the night was Madi Nolan.
- The Auggies pulled their goalie in the final two minutes of the third to give themselves an extra shooter but it left the goal empty for Callie Hoff to score the Falcons third goal at 18:20.
- The Falcons had 30 shots on goal and were led by Bella Wagner who had four total.
- Sami Miller had 31 saves in goal.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Falcons improve to 10-3-1 on the season with the win. They travel to Bethel University Saturday January 11 to take on the Royals. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m.
