PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The women's basketball team was defeated by UWP on the road on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons fell 51-63.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Falcons shot 43.5 percent from the field in the first half, hitting 10-23, including 1-7 from three point. The Falcons also made 3-4 from the free throw line.
- Crystal Pearon led the Falcons in the first half scoring 12 points on 5-7 shooting from the field.
- The Falcons scored seven points off the bench overall, two in the first half.
- The Falcons went into halftime down 24-34.
- UWRF shot 39.3 percent in the second half overall, making 11-28 field goals and making 1-10 three-pointers. The Falcons also made 4-6 from the free throw line in the half.
- Brianna Koop and Cassie Heinrichs led the Falcons in the second half with nine points each.
- The Falcons finished the game with 34 points in the paint, 18 in the second half.
- The Falcons also scored 14 points off of 16 Pioneer turnovers.

- Pearson led the Falcons with 16 points off of 7-12 shooting from the field. She also recorded four rebounds and two steals.
- Heinrichs and Koop contributed 11 and 10 points respectively on the night.

THE OPPOSITION
- UW-Platteville was led by Morgan Horstman with 17 points.
