MINNEAPOLIS Minn. (uwrfsports.com) - The UW-River Falls track and field team traveled to the U of M for the Cold Classic Friday afternoon.  The Falcons saw multiple top ten finishes as well as a top place finish in the womens long jump.
 
Track Highlights:

• Allison Stewart qualified and placed 4^th in the Women's 60 M Dash with a time of 8.14 seconds
• All three women placed in the top 15 for the Women's 200 M Dash; Lexi LeFever taking 8^th with a time of 26.63, Allison Stewart taking 10^th with a time of 27.57, and Sarah Langlois taking 12^th with a time of 28.28
• Nate Rixmann took 9^th in the Men's 200 M Dash with a time of 23.44
• Four women placing in the top 15 for the Women's 800  M Dash; Orianna Lebal taking 10^th with a time of 2:42.61, Chloe Rogahn taking 11^th with a time of 2:49.40, Katie Nelson taking 12^th with a time of 2:51.50, and Cierra Kirkwood taking 14^th with a time of 2:57.08
• Beau Clemmensen and Caleb Anton took 7^th and 9^th in the Men's 800 M Dash with times of 2:10.65 and 2:12.93 respectively
• Emmy Farago taking 7^th in the Women's 3000 M Run with a time of 10:58.39
• Four women placed in the top 15 for the Women's 60 M Hurdles; Samantha Krueger took 4^th with a time of 9.33, Kimberly Robertson took 6^th with a time of 9.44, Marlee Dietrich took 8^th with a time of 10.18, and Katie Haase took 9^th with a time of 10.59
• The Women's 4x400 team consisting of Lexi LeFever, Katie Haase, Sarah Langlois, and Marlee Dietrich, took 6^th with a time of 4:27.78
• The Men's 4x400 team consisting of Caleb Anton, Beau Clemmensen, Tyler Northey, and Adam Jacobi took 5^th with a time of 3:55.15

Field Highlights:

• Lexi LeFever won the Women's Long Jump with a leap of 5.11 M and Marlee Dietrich took 7^th with a leap of 4.69 M
• Katie Haas took 6^th in the Women's High Jump with a jump of 1.38 M
• Luke Raymond took 7^th in the Men's High Jump with a jump of 1.76 M
• Samantha Krueger took 6^th in the Women's Pole Vault with a height of 3.37 M and Kimberly Robertson took 8^th with a height of 3.37 M
• Cody Hawkins took 13^th in the Men's Pole Vault with a height of 3.76 M
• Joel Alexander, Leo Pittsley, and Brenton Wolf took 13^th, 14^th, and 15^th in the Men's Long Jump with jumps of 5.76 M, 5.41 M, and 5.15 M respectively
• Luke Raymond and Brady Balts took 7^th and 8^th place in the Men's Triple Jump with jumps of 11.71 M and 10.62 M respectively
• Taylor Weiss and Jackie Rosenbush took 13^th and 14^th in the Women's Shot Put with throws of 10.87 M and 10.84 M respectively
• Abigail Bakken took 13^th in the Women's Weight Throw with a throw of 14.28 M

The Falcons will compete in the two day WIAC Indoor Championship meet next week Friday and Saturday (February 28 & 29, 2020) which is being held at UW-Oshkosh.
