Men's Hockey Falls on Night Two of Semifinals

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's hockey team fell 1-5 Saturday night to No. 7 UW-Stevens Point in the semifinal game of the WIAC Tournament.

  • The Pointers struck first scoring a goal just over two minutes into the first period.
  • The Pointer continued their lead, scoring two goals in the second period at 1:21 and 1:40.
  • Cayden Cahill got the Falcons on the board with a power play goal off the pass form Peter Karavos and Sam Anzai.
  • Pointers extended their lead 5-1 with a goal at 1:33 and 17:28 in the third.
  • The Falcons had 16 total shots on goal. Ryan Cuzin led the way for Falcons with eight total shots.
