RIVER FALLS, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls men's basketball defeated UW-Whitewater for the second time this season.  The Falcons beat the Warhawks 63-60

WHAT HAPPENED
  • The Falcons made 11-28 (39.3 percent) field goals in the first half, including 2-5 from behind the arc.  Noah Hanson led the Falcons in the first half with nine points, shooting 2-4 from the floor and hitting 1-2 from three point.  He also recorded 4-5 from the free throw line.
  • The Falcons scored 14 points off the bench in the first half, 19 total for the game.
  • UWRF went into halftime trailing, 33-34.
  • The Falcons shot 50 percent from the field in the second half (11-22), hitting 2-9 from behind the arc.  As a team, they made 6-9 (66.7 percent) from the free throw line.
  • Austin Werdin led the Falcons in the second half, scoring 11 on 3-3 shooting and hitting 5-6 from the free throw line.
  • River Falls scored 34 points in the paint on the night, 18 coming in the second half.
