ROCHESTER, Minn. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls took part in the Luther College Dome games on Saturday. The Falcons faced both Lawrence University and St. Catherine University. River Falls came up just short in both matchups.
THE RUNDOWN GAME 1 vs LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY

WHAT HAPPENED AGAINST LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY
- Lawrence scored one run, unearned, in the top of the first inning. River Falls committed an error on the lead off batter. Falcons pitcher, Tayler Fall, struck out two in the inning.
- River Falls answered in the bottom of the first with one run of their own. Kaspar singled to start the inning and eventually scored on a sac fly by Bosch.
- The Vikings scored two runs in the second inning and another run in the third.
- UWRF scored two more runs off three hits in the bottom of the third. Daley led off the inning with a ground-rule double. Kondzela singled to advance Daley to third. Bosch doubled, scoring Daley. Kondzela also scored in the inning.
- Lawrence scored four more runs off six hits over the last three innings of the game.
- River Falls tallied one more run in the bottom of the fifth on two hits.
- Overall, the Falcons scored 4 runs on 10 hits and committed 4 errors. Seven different players for River Falls recorded hits during the game, three of them with multiple hits.

WHAT HAPPENED AGAINST ST. CATHERINE UNIVERSITY
- The Falcons led off the game with a two-run first inning. River Falls had two hits in the inning, including a double by Bosch and a single by Rappaport. Kaspar started the inning drawing a walk and later scored on the hit by Bosch. Bosch then scored on Rappaport's single.
- St. Catherine responded in the bottom of the first inning, scoring four runs on four hits, all singles.
- River Falls recorded one more run in the top of the second inning off one hit and one error committed by St. Catherine.
- Both sides were quiet until the bottom of the sixth inning when St. Catherine scored five runs on three hits, all singles.
- Overall the Falcons scored 3 runs on 4 hits and committed 1 error.
