EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (uwrfsports.com) – The UW-River Falls women's hockey team won the O'Brien Cup with a 2-1 overtime win Saturday against UW-Eau Claire.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST UW-EAU CLAIRE
- The Blugolds stuck first with a goal at 9:38 in the first period taking an early 1-0 lead. They maintained the lead through the first and second periods.
- The Falcons killed off four power play opportunities in the second period.
- In the third period, Callie Hoff tied the game up 1-1 with a power play goal at 10:17. Assisting her on the play was Hailey Herdine and Erica Schramel.
- In the final minute and half of the overtime period, Kora Torkelson found the back of the net giving the Falcons a 2-1 win.
