PLATTEVILLE, Wisconsin – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team traveled to UW-Platteville Friday night for a WIAC matchup. The Falcons fell to the Pioneers 0-3.
The Pioneers won the first two sets of the match 25-16 before an exciting third set went extra points. The Falcons trailed 15-20 and looked out of the match but tied it up 22-22. The two teams swapped points till the game got tied up 29-29. An error by the Pioneers gave the Falcons hope as they led 30-29 but Platteville came back with three points to win the set 32-30.
Katie Koerper led the offense with 11 kills and collected 12 digs for a double double night.
Kameri Meredith had nine kills and eight digs.
Brooke Voigt finished the night with 13 digs.
