RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin – The UW-River Falls women's volleyball team swept UW-Stout in three set to pick up their first WIAC win. The Falcons defeated the Blue Devils 25-23, 25-20, and 25-22.
The Falcons came out in the first set collecting 21 kills and hitting .296. In the second set, they converted the ball well hitting a match high of .359. Overall, the Falcons hit .285 and collected 53 kills.
Kameri Meredith led the team in both offense and defense recording 14 kills and 12 digs.
Katie Koerper completed the double double collecting 11 kills and 10 digs.

The Falcons take the weekend off but return next week to host Hamline University in a nonconference matchup. Game time will be 7 p.m. at Page arena on Wednesday, October 13.
