LAST TIME OUT
The Falcons closed out the regular season with a 28-21 win over No. 19-ranked UW-Oshkosh last Saturday, the first UWRF victory over the Titans since 2005. Luke Fugate, Jager Reissmann, Charlie Huschka, and Alex Traxler all scored touchdowns, including three passing scores from Kole Hinrichsen

Michael Brown intercepted a Titan pass on the next UWO drive and the Falcon offense ran down the clock to seal the win. With 2:12 left in regulation after a Titan timeout during fourth down, Ben Beise gave a tap pass to a sweeping Tim Oeun who rushed for 38 yards inside the Titan red-zone. UWRF then kneeled the ball to end the game.

THE SERIES
Saturday's matchup will mark the first ever meeting between UW-River Falls and WashU.  The Falcons hosted CCIW member Elmhurst University during the 2021 home opener on Sept. 4, defeating the Bluejays 45-7.

UWRF POSTSEASON HISTORY
The Culver's Isthmus Bowl marks the first bowl game in UWRF football history. It marks the first postseason game for the Falcons since 1996 when UWRF reached the NCAA Playoffs. The Falcons are 1-3 all-time in postseason history. The 1979, 1995, and 1996 UWRF teams hold the program record for wins in a season with nine.

RECORD BREAKERS
  • At UW-Stout on Nov. 6, quarterback Kole Hinrichsen threw four touchdown passes, including one to Andy Groebner. Hinrichsen broke a UWRF program record with his 22nd passing TD of the season while Groebner also broke a Falcon single-season record with his 10th receiving TD on the year.
