After earning a three-point lead after the first 10 minutes, UWRF limited the home team to just three points in the second quarter to take a 32-19 lead into halftime, capped off by a triple from Nilsen with just over 30 seconds left on the clock.

Both teams struggled to find a shooting stride in the second half, but the Falcons maintained the lead for the remainder of regulation, eventually claiming their largest lead of the game at 16 with layups from freshmen Annie Feine and Olivia Miron late in the game.

The Falcons shot 20-of-62 from the field and 5-of-25 from three-point range.
