Playing host for the WIAC Championships, the UW-River Falls Falcons track and field team saw several athletes put on outstanding performances and as a result, the women's team came in 5th place. The performance is indicative of the great strides the program has made under second-year head coach
Colleen Sowa.
Lexi LeFever continued her dominating season by winning the long jump with a leap of 5.81 meters, well ahead of her closest competitor. LeFever also recorded a second-place finish in the 200 meter dash and a third-place finish in the 100 meter dash.
LeFever wasn't the only one on the women's side to churn out an impressive performance.

On the men's side, freshman
