RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls football team and head coach
Matt Walker announced the hiring of
Jack Jarnigan as the program's next offensive line coach.
Jarnigan, a native of Los Gatos, Calif., comes to River Falls after one season at Marian University in Indianapolis, Ind., in which he helped lead the Knights to a NAIA playoff appearance. He also had a coaching stint at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale before Marian.
A 2019 graduate of Valparaiso University, Jack was a standout member of the offensive line as the starting center for four years, was a two-time Presidential Academic Honoree and was a team captain his senior year.Â
"We are so excited to add Jack to our Falcon Football Family," said Walker. "Coach Jarnigan is one of the brightest young offensive line coaches I have come across in a long time. He brings incredible energy and passion to this position and we cannot wait to get started."
Coaching and college athletics run strong in the Jarnigan family. Jack's mother, Liz Jarnigan, has served the majority of her professional career in college athletics, and currently serves as the Athletic Director at Southern Illinois University. Jack's father, Jeff Jarnigan, has had multiple stops coaching college and arena football. He is currently an assistant coach and general manager for the Arizona Rattlers.Â
