RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls women's tennis team hosted Southwest Minnesota State University and the College of Saint Benedict during the 2021 fall season home opener at the College of Saint Benedict, falling 9-0 against the Mustangs and 7-2 against the Bennies on Saturday, Sept. 11.

"Our Falcons stepped up to the challenge and new it would be a hard day of competition," said head coach Dan Stumpf. "We greatly improved our consistently against Saint Ben's and were fortunate enough to win two third-set super breakers. We played hard and continued to grow. I'm really proud of the way the team continued to progress as we lead into our WIAC opener tomorrow."
