RIVER FALLS, Wis. - Luke Fugate of UWRF football and Maria Laudenbach of UWRF women's cross country were named the Royal Credit Union Falcons of the Week for the week of Sept. 6-12, 2021.

Luke Fugate, Sr., Platteville, Wis.

• Fugate helped lead the Falcons to a road win at Hendrix College on Saturday, Sept. 6, who received votes in the latest D3football.com Top 25 poll.
• He rushed for a career-high 112 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns on the ground along with an 11-yard touchdown reception.
• His second rushing TD of the game and third of the season stood as the eventual game-winning score during the 49-33 victory.

Maria Laudenbach, So., Saint Francis, Minn.

• Laudenbach won her second consecutive race this fall after winning the Falcon Invite on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course, taking first with a six-kilometer time of 22:44.11.
• Her time was at a mile pace of 6:05.7, while finishing nearly 38 seconds ahead of the runner-up, taking first among 38 competitors from UW-Stout, North Central University (Minn.), Northwestern-St. Paul (Minn.), and Oak Hills Country College.
• She also placed first at the Crown College (Minn.) Invitational 5k on Sept. 4.
