Hinrichsen and Voigt Earn RCU Falcon of the Week Honors

RIVER FALLS, Wis. - Kole Hinrichsen UWRF football and Brooke Voigt of UWRF volleyball were named the Royal Credit Union Falcons of the Week for the week of Sept. 13-19, 2021.

Kole Hinrichsen, Sr., Farmington, Minn.
  • Hinrichsen, the Falcons' starting quarterback, had a career day at the University of Northwestern on Saturday, completing 24-of-27 passing attempts with four touchdowns, all in the first half.
  • His 325 passing yards were a career high as the Falcons cruised to a 71-13 victory while totaling a school record point total and the most yards of total offense (732) since 2003.
  • UWRF's 3-0 record is also the best start since 1996.
Brooke Voigt, Jr., Slinger, Wis.
  • Voigt helped guide the Falcons to a 4-1 record on the week, including four consecutive wins at the Ripon College Tournament.
  • A junior libero, Voigt led the Falcon defense with an average of 6.35 digs per set for a total of 108.
  • During a 3-2 win versus Concordia-Chicago, Voigt tallied a career-high 41 digs.
  • Voigt was also named the WIAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
