RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The Jan. 20 and 22 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) women's hockey games between UW-River Falls and UW-Superior have been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.

Per WIAC COVID-19 procedures, the games will be considered "no contests" and will not count towards the overall win/loss record of either team or for NCAA selection purposes. 

The teams may attempt to reschedule later in the season as nonconference contests.

No. 4-ranked UW-River Falls (14-1, 3-1 WIAC) is next scheduled to face the College of St. Scholastica on Jan. 26 in Duluth, Minn.
