FALCON NOTES
- UWRF went 1-1 last week, defeating UW-Eau Claire before a tight loss at No. 5-ranked UW-Oshkosh on Saturday. Freshman center Rodrick Payne led the Falcons, averaging 23.5 points per game through the two games, and was named the RCU Male Falcon of the Week.
- Rodrick Payne has turned in three-straight games with at least 20 points and ranks second on the team in scoring behind Noah Hanson with 13.8 points per game. He is the team leader with 6.1 rebounds per game.
- Noah Hanson ranks fourth in WIAC scoring with 18.7 points per game, while leading the league with 50 three-pointers made, averaging 3.1 per game. Over half of Hanson's field goals made this season have come from beyond the arc.
- Hanson was named the WIAC Player of the Week Nov. 22-28 and is a two-time Male Falcon of the Week honoree this season.
- UWRF's 1.8 scoring margin ranks sixth in the WIAC, averaging 75.8 points per game and 74 points against.
- The Falcons lead the WIAC with 72 blocked shots (4.5 per game), with 18 from junior forward Marshall Holland (3rd/WIAC).
- UWRF ranks second in the conference with 14.7 assists per game, led by senior point guard Bryce Phillips, who leads the WIAC with a 2.9 assist/turnover ratio and ranks second with 5.6 assists per game.
- Against Augsburg University on Dec. 16, Phillips broke a UWRF single-game record with 18 assists. The previous most by a Falcon was 15, set in 1989.
