RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The UW-River Falls men's basketball team opens the 2022 calendar year heading back into its WIAC schedule, hosting UW-Stevens Point and No. 5-ranked UW-Oshkosh.

FALCON NOTES
- The Falcons are coming off a pair of wins over MIAC opponents Augsburg and Hamline University Dec. 16-18.
- Against Augsburg, senior point guard Bryce Phillips (St. Paul, Minn.) broke a UWRF single-game record with 18 assists.
- The previous most by a Falcon was 15, set in 1989.
- Senior guard Noah Hanson (Eau Claire, Wis.) is the WIAC's leading scorer, averaging 19.3 points per game.
- He leads the league 39 three-point field goals made, averaging 3.5 per game.
- Versus Northwestern on Nov. 23, Hanson made seven three-pointers and compiled a career-high 34 points, matching the most points by a Falcon since 2016.
- UWRF ranks second in the WIAC in offensive rebounds (10.9 per game) and is the conference leader with 4.82 blocks per game.
- Junior forward Marshall Holland (Coon Rapids, Minn.) leads the Falcons with 6.5 rebounds per game with 14 blocks.
- Holland and Rodrick Payne (Fr., Cottage Grove, Minn.) have combined for 44 offensive rebounds.
