STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's basketball team suffered a 64-58 loss at UW-Stevens Point Wednesday evening.
Up by 14 points after the first half, the Falcons allowed the Pointers to rally in the second half and eventually seal the win in the final minutes as UWSP more than doubled its first-half total.

Haley DeSouza compiled all the Falcons' three-pointers on the night as UWRF shot 9-for-25 from beyond the arc.
Zeman led the Falcons with a career-high 23 points, scoring 19 of the team's 30 points in the first half.
After going down 8-2 through the first five minutes of the night, UWRF responded with a 13-2 run to close out the first quarter, including eight points and a pair three-pointers from Zeman as the Falcons took a 14-10 lead into the second.
Zeman added three more from beyond the arc in the second frame to give the Falcons a 14-point halftime lead.
UWRF led by eight points heading into the final 10 minutes. With the visiting Falcons clinging on to their lead, UWSP strung together a 13-2 run to take its first lead since early in the contest at 56-55 with just over a minute remaining.
UWRF travels to Oshkosh, Wis., on Saturday, Jan. 8 to face No. 18-ranked UW-Oshkosh.
