OSHKOSH, Wis. – The UW-River Falls volleyball team fell by a score of 3-0 at No. 16-ranked UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon.
UWRF (16-10, 0-5 WIAC) compiled a .078 hitting percentage with 31 kills. The Titans forced 22 Falcons errors while both teams recorded 50 digs and four blocks.
The Titans took the first two sets by scores of 25-15 before some Falcon push-back in the third.
UWRF totaled 13 kills while forcing eight UWO errors in the final frame. Down 4-1 early on, the Falcons went on a pair of runs to gain four and six point leads.

Brenna Olson service ace gave UWRF a 13-7 advantage in the third set, and the Falcons led until the home team put together a streak of six-straight points to tie the set at 16-16. From there, the Falcons and Titans traded five leads before UWO closed out and set and match with three consecutive points to win 27-25.
Katie Koerper led the team with 10 kills, while
Grace Boles tallied 14 assists and Olson led the defense with 16 digs.
UWRF has another WIAC road match next Wednesday at UW-Stout.
