EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's soccer team dropped a WIAC road matchup at UW-Eau Claire Saturday afternoon, 4-0.
UWRF's overall record dips to 9-5-4 and 0-5-1 in the WIAC.
The Blugolds held the Falcons scoreless and didn't allow a shot on goal while peppering the Falcons with 17 shots on target.
UWEC scored the eventual game-winner near the five-minute mark and added another pair in the first half before one more in the second.
Kaylie Krueger made her 10th start of the season in net and was handed the loss despite collecting a season-high 13 saves.
The Falcons have their last nonconference game next Tuesday at Simpson College.
