GREENWOOD, Ind. - The 2021-22 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District At-Large Teams were released Thursday, May 19, with
Callie Hoff representing UW-River Falls Women's Hockey on the NCAA Division III District 6 Team.
The Academic All-District At-Large Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution in order to be nominated. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot with winners announced in June.
The at-large program for the CoSIDA Academic All-America program includes the sports of fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming and diving, tennis, water polo for both men and women; bowling, crew and field hockey for women; and volleyball and wrestling for men.
Hoff, a fifth-year senior and native of Hermantown, Minn., completed her decorated career as a Falcon in 2022 as the UWRF women's hockey all-time leading scorer while accumulating a 3.76 GPA as an Elementary Education major.
During her final year at UWRF, Hoff was the Division III women's hockey leading scorer with 67 points off 26 goals and 41 assists, a program single-season record. She was chosen as the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Laura Hurd Player of the Year, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, and was selected as UWRF's Female Athlete of the Year.
A four-time WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll member and three-time AHCA All-American Scholar, Hoff earned a spot on the All-WIAC Team in all of her five seasons played and is a two-time AHCA All-American.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2021-22 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
