RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The UW-River Falls volleyball team fell to No. 9 UW-Whitewater in a WIAC conference matchup Friday night at Page Arena.
Kameri Meredith led off the match with an impressive kill to get the Falcons on the board first, but the Warhawks quickly answered back taking the lead the remainder of the set winning 25-20. The Falcons held the Warhawks to just a .174 attack percentage in the first the lowest of the night.
The Falcons totaled double-digit kill totals in the final each set and hit .211 their best of the night.
Meredith led the Falcons both offensively and defensively with 10 kills and 10 digs.
The Falcons, who are now 14-6 overall and 0-3 in WIAC play, have the weekend off before they head back into WIAC play against UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 5 at Page Arena.
