SKINNER SELECTED TO TEAM USA WORLDÂ UNIVERSITY GAMES
Junior goaltenderÂ
Dysen Skinner was selected to compete for Team USA in the 2023 FISU Winter World University Games, set to take place Jan. 11-21 in Lake Placid, N.Y.Â
Staged every two years in a different city, the Games are an international multi-sport event organized for university student-athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). Teams from more than 50 nations will compete in 86 medal events. University students currently enrolled in an approved academic institution and proceeding toward a degree, or who have completed/obtained their degree in the calendar year preceding the Games are eligible.
The Team USA men's team is set to open round robin play on Wednesday, Jan. 11, when they host Great Britain at Clarkson University's Cheel Arena in Postdam, N.Y.

- UWRF is coming off a 2-0-1 week, tying 2-2 at UW-Stout before wins over No. 4-ranked Augsburg University and Bethel University.
- Fifth-year senior forward Mike Gelatt totaled seven points (3g-4a) through three games, and was named the WIAC Player of the Week.
- The Falcons lead the WIAC with a 0.533 faceoff winning percentage, led by 157 faceoff wins from Noah Roofe.
- Noah Ganske leads the WIAC with 4.25 shots on goal per game.
- Three Falcons are tied for the team goal-scoring lead, as Gelatt, Dylan Smith, and Billy Feczko each have five goals.
