LA CROSSE, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's basketball team fell by a score of 63-36 at UW-La Crosse Wednesday evening.
After an even first quarter leading to a 13-13 score, the home took over, holding the Falcons to just 23 points the rest of the way. UWRF, now 12-6 overall and 2-5 during WIAC play, shot 12-of-55 from the field.
Olivia Miron led UWRF with a season-high 10 points while the Eagles limited the Falcons' top scorer
Macy Nilsen to five points. Nilsen led the Falcons with nine rebounds and four assists.
UWL shot over 40 percent from the field and from beyond the arc, and were led by 34 combined points from starters Lauryn Milne and Kyah Steiner.
The Falcons return to Page Arena on Saturday to host UW-Whitewater.
