LA CROSSE, Wis. - The UW-River Falls volleyball picked up a 3-1 WIAC conference road win Wednesday night. The Falcons won 25-22, 25-19, 20-25, and 25-22.
In the first set, the Falcons were down 20-22 before going on a five-point run to win. The set ended up being the Falcons strongest where they hit .265 and held the Eagles to a .196.
The Falcons were down 14-23 in the third set before coming within three, 20-23. It was not enough though as the Falcons ended up falling 20-25. UWRF found themselves down early in the fourth set but came back winning the fourth and taking the match.
Lauren Noth led the Falcons with 17 kills.
Kameri Meredith had 15 kills and 23 digs for the double double.
Hannah Polk assisted on 37 kills a
Brenna Olson had 21 digs.
UWRF (15-7, 1-2 WIAC) travels to St. Joseph, MN for the Saint Ben's Quadrangular. They face Concordia College and St. Benedictine.
