- UWRF collected 228 points to rank fourth in the opening USCHOÂ Division III poll.
- The Falcons were picked to finish first in the WIAC Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
- The Falcons are coming off a 24-4-1 season, where they reached the NCAA Tournament for a 14th time in program history, while winning their ninth WIAC regular season title and their eighth WIAC Tournament Title.
- UWRF returns five All-WIAC Honorees, MaKenna Aure, Holly Eckers, Alex Hantge, Maddie McCollins, and Bailey Olson.
- MaKenna Aure and Maddie McCollins were All-Americans, including WIAC Newcomer of the Year laurels for Aure and USCHO Player of the Year recognition for McCollins.
