WHITEWATER, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's soccer team finished out the 2023 season with a 2-2 tie against UW-Whitewater.
It took 50 minutes before either team found the back of the net but when the Falcons scored, they were able to find it back to back.
Lauren Best scored first at 50:48 and
Aliviah McClinton followed it up two minutes later at 52:32. Assisting McClinton on the goal was Best.
The Warhawks answered back with two goals of their own. The first came at 58:13 and then again at 67:48.
Whitewater outshot the Falcons 27-8 with 9 shots on target.
Grace Zellmer made the start in net and had six saves.
The Falcons finished the season 6-8-4 and 1-4-2.
