REEDSBURG, Wis. - The UW-River Falls women's golf team finished eighth at the 2023 WIAC Championship, wrapping up its fall campaign with a 54-hole total team score of 1078 (+54) Oct. 6-8 at Reedsburg Country Club.
UW-Whitewater took home the team title with a score of 959.
After a round one score of 360 on Friday and 376 during round two, the Falcons improved greatly on Sunday, dropping 34 strokes as a team for a score of 342.
Grace Gabriel, who was tied for ninth after day one with an 83, struggled on Saturday with a 97 but bounced back with a career-low round of 78 on Sunday, UWRF's lowest individual score this fall to finish tied for 22nd with a total score of 258 (+42).
