REEDSBURG, Wis. – The UW-River Falls women's golf team finished sixth at the 2026 WIAC Championship, concluding its fall season with a three-round team score of 1,028 (+164) Oct. 9-11 at Reedsburg Country Club.

UW-Eau Claire won the team title with a score of 933 (+69), followed by UW-Stout in second at 943 (+79).

The Falcons carded team scores of 345, 330 and 353 Friday through Sunday. UWRF's three-round total of 1,028 ranks as the third-lowest team score in program history at the WIAC Championship.

Individually, the Falcons were paced by sophomore Megan Bermejo, who tied for 15th place with a three-round total of 243 (+27). Bermejo's opening-round 75 tied the UWRF program record and stands as the lowest round by a Falcon at the WIAC Championship. Her 54-hole score of 243 was the Falcons' best individual finish at the conference championship since Kelly Gordh shot 233 in 2008 at Northern Bay Golf Resort & Marina in Arkdale, Wis., and the lowest UWRF total since the event moved to Reedsburg Country Club in 2016. Bermejo followed her opening round with scores of 81 and 87.

Lily Sullivan finished tied for 33rd with a 256 (+40), while Martha Effertz tied for 48th at 263 (+47). Sullivan was also named to the All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team.
